I am a Computer Science major with a minor in Animation. My aim is to combine my creative side with my love of coding and various forms of technology.
About meI have always been a very creative person with a passion for creating in general, whether it be drawing, videos, websites, etc. My mindset, however, has always better attuned to math and technology rather than drawing and more traditional art forms. I have learned that I can utilize my computer skills to execute my own creative visions. What I lack in dexterity of the pencil I can make up for by learning how to get the technology to do it for me. Because of this, I have come to love coding and animation, in which I can take my creative side and apply it to the code and various technical programs within the Animation Industry.
My more visual and creative side has also led to a passion for UX/UI design, as I have a great appreciation for the research and thought required to make an appealing and easy to use website. My time as a UX intern helped to further solidify my interest in the field as I enjoyed the process of research to preliminary design all the way through coding the final product.
I am also a member of the Division I Loyola Marymount University Women's Water Polo Team. My time as a student athlete has taught me valuable lessons in time management, discipline, and working well with others under times of great stress.
